After a sparked interest in software development starting in high school, I decided to pursue the IT sector as my future career. This led me to acquiring an Associate's in Software Development where I gained valuable technical skills in the Java and C# languages. Alongside this, I gained skills in SQL relational databases and web development.
In my pursuit to further my knowledge, I earned a Bachelor's in Information Technology, which I received in 2021. Here I honed my C# skills as well as gave them context with the acquisition of new skills in project management. My SQL skills were bolstered as well, along with knowledge on database design.
I also learned about the Information Assurance field of IT, learning skills in Threat Modeling, Risk Management, Governance and Policies, OS Hardening, Active Directory, and Digital Forensics. On top of this, I gained a basic understanding of networking, but yearn to learn more and strengthen my security skills.Â
Having skills in software development, security, and project management, I can apply critical thinking and technical skills to better understand, adapt, and find solutions on projects I work on.
In this portfolio, you may find a structured list of my education, skills, and professional interests. This information can be found on the education page.
The various projects I have worked on or am currently working on can be found on the projects page. Detailed descriptions of each project, my role in those projects as well as any available documentation of those projects will be on showcase.
Since graduating college, I still yearn to learn more about the IT sector. With my prior learning in both software development and information assurance, my end goal currently is to bring as much knowledge as I can and use that knowledge to benefit the IT world and any passion projects I choose to pursue. Building more experience in management and leadership roles is a goal I want to add to my repertoire to better put my technical and critical thinking skills to use for grander projects.
On top of my formal education, I would enjoy pursing some certifications such as Security+, other similar cybersecurity-centric certifications and to immerse myself in emerging technologies such as cloud computing to broaden my skillset and keep a relevant grasp on an ever-evolving field.
